2BAC WRITING: Write an email to your friend

Write an email to your friend

An English friend of yours has decided to live in Morocco, and he / she needs your help to choose a city or town.
Write an email to your friend to explain why the city or town you suggest is good for him / her to live in. (Approximately 200 words)
The following cues may help you:
Name of the city / town
Geographical location (north/south/east/west - near the sea/mountains, etc...)
Weather
People
Customs
Historical monuments
Interesting places
Economy, etc.
Facilities: (hospitals - libraries - shopping centres - schools - transport, etc.)

Thank your friend for his / her email.
Say you were pleased to hear he / she was coming to live in Morocco.
Also say he / she is welcome to stay with you for a couple of weeks if he / she likes.
Tell him / her that before deciding where to live, he / she can first visit many places in your home town.
He / she can visit many places near it like (The Oudayas, Chellah, Hassan Tower, the Old   Medina, the beautiful beaches of Harhoura, Sable D’Or, Plage des Nations, or Mehdia etc ...)
Tell your friend he / she can live in your town for these reasons:
It is both a modern and a traditional city.
It is the capital city of the Kingdom.
It is the administrative centre of Morocco, with many modern buildings.
It is in the north west of the country on the Atlantic coast.
It also has a fantastic view on the Bouregreg River and its modern Marina with its beautiful cafés and restaurants serving modern dishes and traditional ones.
It has many modern shopping centres: Atacadao, Carrefour, Marjane, Mega Mall, Assima, Asouak Assalam etc.
Your town also has many international fast food restaurants such as MacDonald, Pizza Hut, CFK
or Japanese and Vietnamese restaurants.
Also tell your friend that the cultural life in Rabat is very active: many cultural centres such as the American Centre, the British Council, Goethe Institute, the French Cultural Centre, Cervantes Institute etc.
There is also an international art exhibition gallery: Bab Rouah.
There are many cinemas where he / she can watch the latest Hollywood releases
There are also many other modern facilities:
Transportation: tramway, trains, taxis, buses,
Health care: modern medical clinics and hospitals,
Education: modern public and private schools, universities and institutes.
Your town has a mild weather: not so hot in summer and not so cold in winter.
As to the people, they are very hospitable, tolerant and jovial, telling jokes and laughing.
Now, ask him / her when he / she is coming to Morocco; beginning of July or mid July?
At the end, conclude saying you're looking forward to hearing from him / her very soon.

You may suggest another town: Marrakech
Marrakech and its historical monuments.
Jamaa El Fna Square: snake charmers, fortune tellers, folkloric bands, tattoos makers, acrobats, story tellers, etc.
Life at night in Jamaa El Fna is fantastic, fabulous etc.
The Koutoubia, al Badia’ Palace, the Menara Gardens etc.
