This is the story of Jade Sperry, a pretty 18 year old girl living in a tiny town in Palmetto, South Carolina. Intelligent, pretty and popular Jade and her boyfriend Gary had their futures all planned out until one horrifying event changed her life immeasurably. Gang raped by three classmates, one of whom was the son of the most powerful man in town, Jade was helpless in trying to convince anyone of her innocence – including her own mother. Finding herself pregnant and Gary convinced Jade cheated on him, he committed suicide.
